Regular Joe

He was a regular Joe
tall, bold and black

Filled up with himself
and too hot to handle

Pretending to be real
forgetting he was decaf

He couldn’t smell
her storm brewing

  8. Love the wordplay. Very clever. It's that same ying/yang concisely written. Thanks.

  10. The economy of style in this makes its impact that much greater. Nice turns of phrase and wordplay. I hope the storm blew over!
