Frequency

waves
of kilohertz and megahertz
sounding, pounding
through your body
‘til it hurts
I can hear your
pain

  6. Twice when I was a teen I felt the full fury of 220 shock, okay maybe only 110, but holy cow it got my attention. It was in my parents' basement. There was some water on the floor by the big old chest freezer and OUCH when I touched the appliance. Never did it a 3rd time!! :)

    Lovely simple beautiful poem.
