Look Closely

Tonight, I'm joining d'Verse Poets Pub where you will find the wonderful words of them.  The host today is James Rainsford who invites us to consider "poetography,"  and write a poem inspired by his photo below.  I almost passed on this invitation, until I looked closely and saw it for myself.  It got me to thinking...
So, I challenge you to Look Closely.

Everywhere, they are.
Silent as shadows.
Deep within mist and ray,
In any form he chooses,
they become.

Reflecting
everything he is.
Warrior guardian protectors.
Above, before, behind,
present…
unseen,
unless.

Look closely.

      I was surprised to see that figure way back there in the mist. Couldn't help letting it flow then. I think it can be seen better on the dverse site... but oh, well. Thanks Brien.

    They do wait, it seems waiting for our indifference or our awareness. This brings to mind all the things we miss because we are not mindful enough.

      yes, how often do I miss what's right in front of me... I have a mind-full alright... but, I agree, it's better when I'm mindful. =) Couldn't resist.

      Waaaaayyyy in the dark background, to the right of the mist. A small, white figure. I need to ask James Rainsford if he did that on purpose. I think it's easier to go to the d'Verse site and enlarge their photo, rather than the one in my post.
