Recurring Dream

Whisper white and fly away
never to return
the dream that breathes reality
eludes my waking touch

Like the seed
that flew away
broken on the wind
will land again
to live again
as dreams return
to breathe again

Then whispered white
it flies away
never to return
again

  6. The movement of the words of this piece felt like a butterfly, lifting, moving, returning... lovely poem.

  7. Patricia, love the photo. Nice grasp of the pic and moment. I envision a few weeks ago my grand spending everyday in our back meadow picking milkweed and blowing them to the wind. Do hope her dreams come true.
